I bought this shoe in the black patent leather for a black tie gala. Shoe looks phenomenal on and so hot to go with a full length gown. The most important aspect is how it feels and this shoe failed with a big fat zero! I couldn't keep the shoe on for lengthy periods of time. Cocktail hour I stood - the minute we got to the table I sat and took them off. The balls of your feet are killing you no cushion. Its like standing on a brick for pete's sake. Spent the entire night at the table with them off then put them back on at the end of the night. They hurt while waiting for the car service and on the ride home I found that my ankles had swollen from being in these shoes. I have bought Chinese Laundry before and I run into the same problem. Hot shoe but painful. Don't purchase if you are wearing for more than an hour.
